Ding, Ding Ding! We have a winner!

I mentioned in a prior post that I was searching for workout gear that was soft, and cute, and came in larger sizes.

I had ordered a clearance skirt/capri online from Kohl's in size 1X.  The company that makes it is called Tek Gear.

As soon as it came in the mail, I tried it in.  The capris are about two inches below my knees, which is a plus.  The material is super soft, another plus.  And...it fit my waist, so that is three checks in the plus column.

The only drawback is it wasn't totally flattering on me.  My pot belly looks bigger and my butt looks wider and flatter.  But you know what?  I really don't care.  I have a big belly and a flat butt so I'm sure it's no surprise to my running buddies.

It would be nice to have a longer workout t-shirt to go with it, maybe in a gray or purple.  Also, I really heated up in these bottoms, so I think they will be more for winter workouts.

Overall, I think they were a great bargain.  They were less than twenty-three dollars before tax and shipping.

My only complaint is I can only seem to find Tek Gear options online at Kohls. There are a few items on Amazon, but none for plus sized women.  I know my Canadiaan friends don't have Kohls, which stinks.

In summary, they weren't perfect, but they were close enough for now.  I shall continue my search.  If only my wallet would get with the program.
